Interleukin-11 is a class 1 new drug for therapeutic biological products; Transferred to Shandong Dong'e, and the production approval has been obtained. As a cytokine with the effect of platelet production, interleukin-11 is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of thrombocytopenia after radiotherapy and chemotherapy in solid tumors and non myeloid leukemia. It is also used for the treatment of thrombocytopenia caused by other reasons. It can significantly reduce the incidence and severity of thrombocytopenia and reduce the need for platelet transfusion. At present, interleukin-11 is still the main drug to improve platelets, and it is also the only drug approved by FDA to improve platelets.
